Suzanne Smith

Suzanne Smith earned her JD from Santa Clara University School of Law, Santa Clara, CA and BA in International Studies from The American University, Washington, DC.  After passing the California Bar, Suzanne worked at the Santa Clara County Office of the Public Defender before returning home to Pennsylvania to become involved in the emerging field of e-discovery.

Suzanne now specializes in the application of linguistic best practices in e-discovery and the forensic investigation of very large electronic document collections.  In addition to working on some of the largest mass torts of the past decade, Suzanne has been a visiting Scholar at Ohio State University’s Center for Automotive Research and a Guest Lecturer at Penn State University.  She frequently speaks on topics associated with e-discovery, forensic linguistics and big data.

Suzanne is a member of the Pittsburgh Chapter of Women in E-Discovery, where she is currently a Board Member and Meetings Director.  She also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the South Side Area School District Education Foundation.
